My most productive weekend? Hmm. It would have to be the last retreat I went on. I finished a TON of half started projects that should have been completed as Christmas gifts. My r...I agree....the stars and snowballs is lovely. My recent priductive weekend was this past one. Our Quilt Guild had a workshop and I learned how to paper-piece. Madew a Mariners Compass block and that started it all!!!! A friend had given me a pattern for a flying geese circle block that I had been drooling over for a long time. I wasn't sure where to start with the paper-piecing but I think I have it now. I have made several of the flying geese blocks and all out of my scraps. Usually my wuilts are a little less formal....I love a scrappy quilt with a little humor sprinkled around. But this is fun and something I have wanted to try. Plus I am able to put together scraps in a new technique.<br />Love all that you have done, you didn't stop to eat or sleep did you?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35896003.post-37955495442085433952010-06-25T23:24:11.641+10:002010-06-25T23:24:11.641+10:00The little lambs are getting so big!
